There are a lot of weight loss methods that people try, and some of them are completely bogus. Â Stuff you find on an infomercial and even some information you find online just won’t help you to lose weight. Â It really just boils down to nutrition and exercise, and if you keep those things in focus, you’ll be able to shed some pounds off of your body. Â One nutrition tip that is really helpful is to just drink more water.
A lot of people who are trying to lose weight actually avoid water because of a ridiculous myth, and because they are avoiding water they are actually gaining weight. Â The myth is that drinking more water leads to water weight. Â The fact is that the opposite of that is what is true. Â Not drinking enough water causes your body to store water because it does not know when it will get some more water. Â This is a survival instinct and is great if you are stuck on an island, but it is bad if you’re trying to lose weight.
The more water that you drink on a consistent basis, will tell your body that it does not need to store water because it will continue to get it. Â This allows your body to release the stored up water weight which directly shows up on the scale. Â Water is also good because it keeps your body properly hydrated and it gives you natural energy. Â You no longer need to deal with the constant ups and downs with energy drinks and coffee.
So, how much water should you actually be drinking each day? Â To figure that out, you’ll take your weight (in pounds), and divide that by two. Â That is how many ounces of water you should drink each day. Â If you weight 250 pounds, then you should drink 125 ounces of water every single day. Â Yes, you will be peeing a lot at first, but your body adjusts after about a week and you will be peeing the normal amount, and losing weight as well.
